Commercial Kitchen Design – Part 1

This intermediate design series centers around the design of restaurants. Each session will focus on the specific design challenges and plumbing coordination items commonly encountered in and often specific to commercial kitchen design. This session topics will include an understanding of food service drawings, identification of various pieces of kitchen equipment and specifi design requirements for backflow prevention and natural gas including gas pressure regulators and solenoid shut off valves.

 

Commercial Kitchen Design – Part 2

This intermediate design series centers around the design of restaurants. Each session will focus on the specific design challenges and plumbing coordination items commonly encountered in and often specific to commercial kitchen design. This session topics will include domestic cold water, water softening, filtration and domestic hot water including water heater sizing, circulation and thermostatic protection.

 

Commercial Kitchen Design – Part 3

This intermediate design series centers around the design of restaurants. Each session will focus on the specific design challenges and plumbing coordination items commonly encountered in and often specific to commercial kitchen design. This session topics will include plumbing fixtures, floor drains, floor sinks, indirect waste, combination waste and vent, flat venting, island venting, cleanouts, grease interceptors, grease traps and grease removal devices.
